An Interactive Differential Evolution Algorithm Based on Backtracking Strategy Applied in Interior Layout Design

The Interior layout model is to optimize the arrangement position of each room maximize comfort and quality life residents. Due complexity problem, computation fitness function costs lots time. To reduce high computational cost while maintaining solution performance. An interactive differential evolution algorithm based on Backtracking operator (IDE-BO) proposed as solver model. human-computer interaction mechanism IDE benefits automatic adjustment parameters that best meet user’s subjective preferences achieve optimal solution. At same time, backtracking strategy can also help jump out when falls into local optimization. compared other two conventional optimization methods different scenarios. experimental results show in interior IDE-BO better than genetic (IGA) which do not use BO strategy, super-performance complex situations terms execution time convergence rate.
